Welcoming Brigit Hanwell to the nexa law team

We would like to introduce Brigit Hanwell, who we are very pleased to have recently welcomed to our nexa law team.

Brigit qualified as a UK Lawyer in 2002 with Ashurst and initially focussed on a large scale, cross border private equity and M&A with key clients including Cinven, Numis, Apax, 3i and Interdean.

After starting in private equity, Brigit moved into the charity and not-for-profit sector, clients including The Football Association, The Royal College of Nursing and The Jockey Club.

Brigit has played international lacrosse for England, was a senior England selector, and has also chaired the Women’s Elite Performance Committee (WEPC) for the England Lacrosse Association (ELA). Sport these days is much more sedate, especially when watching her children from the side-lines.
