Natasha qualified as a solicitor in 2007 and has spent the majority of her career within the field of civil litigation specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence work. For the last 10 years she has been a Partner of a firm and has headed up teams specialising in the above areas of law. She has a passion for ensuring that those who are victims of negligence receive the compensation that they deserve.
Qualifications and Expertise
Natasha has vast experience in the area of civil litigation and after gaining a distinction in the Legal Practice Course went on to train at a niche law firm in Cheshire where she obtained invaluable experience shadowing a Senior Partner and working on her own case load including the notable Court of Appeal case of Casey v Cartwright which changed the personal injury field in terms of how low value impact cases are dealt with, leading her to begin her career as a Solicitor.
Natasha soon advanced to the field of management of a team of Solicitors whilst looking after her own high value and complex case load and thereafter became a Partner, further developing her skillset and gaining a vast array of experience in the field of clinical negligence. Natasha has a reputation for not only working to the best of her ability using the vast amount of legal knowledge and know how she has learnt during her career, but also of sympathising with clients’ situations and wanting to do her absolute best to ensure that they receive the maximum level of compensation to which they are entitled. She deals with not only personal injury and clinical negligence work but has developed more recently a particular specialism with regard to issues surrounding the financial mis-selling of products. Interests
In her spare time, Natasha has three children and so enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys travelling and going to visit the theatre.
Case Studies
Natasha acted for a lady who was injured as a result of a road traffic accident in what was a relatively low velocity impact rear end shunt. Although her client sustained no bony injury, Natasha using her experience in the field of personal injury looked into possible alternative reasons for her client’s continued pain and ultimately achieved settlement in the sum of £250,000.00 due to her client having developed Fibromyalgia.
Natasha acted for a motorcyclist who was involved in a road traffic accident and was knocked off his motorcycle when filtering stationary traffic at speed on the wrong side of the road. Although liability was disputed, using her experience in this area of the law and specifically in relation to the law of negligence Natasha was able to achieve settlement for her client in the sum of £110,000.00.
Natasha acted for a gentleman whose elderly father had died as a result of a failure by the Hospital to dispense him with medication following a diagnosis of caner, Natasha fought hard believing in her client and his instructions and managed to achieve a settlement of the claim in the sum of £2,500.00. Whilst the damages were relatively small in this matter in view of the issue of causation and the likelihood of the client’s father having passed away in any event, Natasha felt strongly that this client should have the necessary legal representation to ensure that his voice was heard and that practices within the hospital were changed.
