Background

After graduating in law at Birmingham University, Lawrence completed his legal training in London’s West End. Initially a criminal lawyer, and with experience in personal injury, and trial advocacy, Lawrence has specialised in immigration law since 1993.

Lawrence went on to establish his own law firm which developed in to one of the largest providers of immigration advice in London and the South East, representing clients in leading reported cases in the High Court, Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court.

Handling a wide range of individual and business immigration cases, Lawrence has succeeded in securing positive outcomes for a wide range of clients including  businesses applying for sponsor licences,  high net worth  investors,  entrepreneurs,  representatives of overseas businesses and  applicants in the global talent category.

Lawrence has also assisted employers with right to work checks for their employees and has successfully challenged decisions to suspend or revoke sponsor licences.

He has extensive experience in family migration, EEA (EU) applications, and human rights including representation in the Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC).
