Jonathan qualified as a Solicitor in 2015 and specialises in commercial dispute resolution and contract law.


Before qualifying as a solicitor, Jonathan worked as a speech-writer and policy researcher in Westminster. Since 2013, Jonathan has worked exclusively in dispute resolution, in recent years with a particular emphasis on High Court litigation (including the Court of Appeal and cross-jurisdictional matters). Jonathan’s clients include regional SMEs and their directors, national companies and public bodies, and international corporate groups. Jonathan also regularly advises private individuals.

With considerable experience in bringing and defending disputes over contractual obligations, professional negligence, misrepresentation, and debts (including corporate disputes and insolvency), Jonathan can authoritatively and swiftly advise his clients in matters ranging in value from several thousands of pounds to millions.

Jonathan’s cases to date have set several precedents, including the first injunction in this jurisdiction permitted to be served via WhatsApp. He has been named the Rising Star of the Year at the Modern Law Awards, and runner-up Junior Lawyer of the Year at both the Solicitors’ Journal Awards and at the Law Society Excellence Awards.

Punching well above his years’ qualification and with an ability to quickly drive straight to the critical issues in a dispute, Jonathan’s advice is sought after by his clients for being fairly priced, insightful, and effective.
