Amy trained and qualified at a niche commercial firm with a strong reputation in franchising. Amy became a partner in 2013 and headed up the franchise, dispute resolution and employment practice of the firm before moving to a more local firm in 2015.
Amy continues to have a strong reputation in the franchise industry for her work, predominantly devoting her time to advising franchisees. In recent times she was featured in What Franchises “Top UK Franchise Lawyers Profiled” article where she was described as being “widely respected as a safe pair of hands who protects her clients’ interests and achieves successful outcomes in the face of challenging situations.” Amy has also appeared on the radio discussing franchising issues and has been the legal judge for the Working Mums franchise awards.
In addition, Amy regularly advises on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters and dispute resolution, with the majority of her commercial clients having worked with her for close to 10 years.

Outside of work Amy enjoys city breaks, with her particular favourite place being Bruges. She enjoys planning road trips around the wine regions of France having recently explored Champagne and the Alsace. Amy is a keen photographer and has won local competitions with her architectural photographs.
